David A. Willens is a founding partner and the Chairman of AW Property Co. He leads the firm’s Investment Committee and principally focuses on strategic initiatives, growth and development, fund formation and fundraising. Mr. Willens has over thirty years of experience as an executive officer and director of both public and private equity-sponsored healthcare companies. He is also a seasoned attorney with extensive experience in commercial real estate transactions, land use and entitlements and leasing and acquisitions. In addition to his role at AW Property Co., Mr. Willens currently serves as a Senior Healthcare Advisor to Norwest Venture Partners, Vice Chairman of Sage Dental Management Services and a member of the boards of directors of Blue Cloud Pediatric Surgery Centers, Onsite Dental, and High Five Healthcare. Mr. Willens has a B.A. in Finance and earned his J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law. He began his career as a corporate lawyer in the private equity group at Kirkland & Ellis.
